A reliable approach of managing the communication sessions over TCP/IP protocol. Sometimes the communication between two ends fails and when the same two ends try to reconnect a new session is created. However, the idea of a more reliable protocol is when trying to reconnect the two ends is to store the sessions date for a short period of time. Then when reconnect the two ends with a new session verify the MAC address and add the old session data such as authentication and authorization data to the new one to prevent the loss of important information.
To the best of my knowledge this Idea was not published in any peer reviewed paper.
